Stage 1 of the Dunn Lewis Centre was opened on 11 September 2010
The Dunn Lewis Centre at Ulladulla will be the HUB of community activity where young and old alike can participate in recreational and social activities, artistic displays, debates, cultural exhibitions, local and national forums.
Stage one houses the 12 lane Bowling Alley, administration area, pro shop, a tastefully appointed spacious lounge area, outdoor seating, a well equipped conference room, hospitality and amenities area.
The classic feature of the centre is the stunning mirrored wall of water that welcomes you at the entrance of this remarkable building.
The Dunn Lewis Centre is set to be the centre of recreational, artistic and cultural excellence in our region; a place of engagement, development and equipping for the future. Information for the travelling and touring public, wherever they want to go in New South Wales.
One of the most significant activities is the potential to provide training spaces for vocational opportunities and traineeships.
The completion of stage 2 of the Dunn Lewis Centre will generate economic growth of our region, creating jobs in the tourism and business sectors of the community.
The operations of the Centre will be directly aimed at the tourism industry, opening a skills centre for tourism and hospitality that will ensure young people have the practical skills needed for potential employees.
Stage 2 will provide:
Memorial Wall: External 40mt long wall behind a water fall at eastern end of the centre for Victims of the 2002 Bali Bombings local and international.
Auditorium: National standard in lighting, sound and design – Maximum 1500 capacity theatre style for shows – Ability to cater for international artists – Touring performing arts – Exhibition sporting events – Local sporting activities – Dance championships – Expo’s – Conferences and corporate team building
Gymnastic Facility: 200 local children – Ability to host Country Championships
Rock Climbing wall: Open to public and functions –
Band Room: Band practice sessions – Music lessons – Recording studio
Commercial Kitchen: Cater for auditorium events, capable of serving 500 people plus.
Classrooms/meeting rooms for Training, programs and meetings. These rooms will also be used for break out areas as well as the green room for large productions.

The Dunn & Lewis Youth Development Foundation is a dynamic organisation focusing on initiatives that positively contribute to young people’s personal, social and vocational wellbeing.
Our Foundation has evolved from extensive consultation with youth groups, communities and governments, to fill a void that can be an overwhelming obstacle to many of today’s young people.
