Stage two of Centre: Fundraising
The Dunn Lewis Foundation is currently fundraising to complete stage 2 of the Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla.
This will generate economic growth of our region, creating jobs in the tourism and business sectors of the community. The operations of the Centre will be directly aimed at the tourism industry, opening a skills centre for tourism and hospitality being unique to the Shoalhaven that will ensure young people have the practical skills needed for potential employees.
The construction (shell) of the auditorium has been completed. With a seating capacity for over 1000 people, this much needed Sports & Arts Complex will consist of a fully equipped
Gymnasium and 12 Lane Rock Wall (to elite standard), Foam Pits and a fully sprung floor, to cater for classes, competitions and national sporting events.
As we edge closer to making our dream a reality for the local and regional community, every single dollar donated helps! Thank you.
Stage 2 will provide numerous additional activities and opportunities for the Shoalhaven:
- Group activities
- Large gymnastics groups
- Sports and recreational groups
- Dance groups
- Performing arts
- Cultural events
The auditorium will feature
- National standard in lighting, sound and design
- Maximum 1500 capacity for shows (the largest in the Shoalhaven)
- Touring performing arts centre including international artists
- Exhibition sporting events and local sporting activities
- Dance championships
- Trade and Consumer Expos and Conferences
Gymnastic facilities with ability to host Country and National Championships (being the only one in the Shoalhaven).
Rock Climbing wall: Open to public and functions and also an added Holiday Makers activity for the Shoalhaven.
